Dermott news, Arkansas news.

An Arkansas woman has been busted in abuse of a corpse charge after officers discovered the deceased body of her 12-year-old son inside their Dermott home.

Betty Adams, 39, was arrested shortly after Dermott Police showed up at her home at around 5:00 a.m. Monday.

The child’s death left neighbors in disbelief with many claiming they knew Adams but were unaware she had a son named Justin.
