A Minnesota girl was beaten to death and cruelly punished at the hands of her dad and stepmom who admitted in court that they were to blame for her demise.

8-year-old Autumn Hallow was 33 pounds when she passed away in August 2020. Brett Jason Hallow and Sarah Kay Hallow told responding cops that she drowned in the bathtub.

But detectives noticed blood in the bathroom and the victim’s blue fingers suggesting that Autumn had been dead for a while.

The child also had visible hair loss, atrophied muscles, several bruises and puncture wounds to her entire body, and bleeding in the brain and abdomen.

Sarah Hallow later confessed that she and her husband took turns assaulting the child in the bathroom where she remained for three days without food or water.

Autumn’s biological mom claimed that she had been deprived of visiting her daughter. She and neighbors had made more than 30 calls to the police to report the ongoing abuse.

The couple pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and child abuse of Autumn and her two siblings. They face up to 40 years in jail.
