Horror in Minneapolis after recently deceased body parts found scattered along neighborhood

Minneapolis authorities are investigating horrific findings of a white male’s remains found in at least two locations along a residential neighborhood.

Residents of the city’s St. Anthony West neighborhood woke up at around 9:30 a.m. to learn that a mutilated man’s body had been discovered on the street.

“We’re treating this as a homicide,” Minneapolis Police Department Spokesman John Elder said.

“Someone losing these body parts, it would not be survivable injuries.”

  • Officers spent the day searching the area for additional remains using cadaver dogs and asked residents to help in the investigation.

    “This is a very disturbing crime. We want people to keep their eyes open. If they see anything that is believed to be suspicious or otherwise, contact 911 right away.”

    Local news outlets said that the remains were “fresh” and not in decomposition. They were left in plain view on grass and inside a bag next to a parked SUV.

    “It’s just very shocking,” a resident said. “And I think all the neighbors around here would never expect anything like this in the area.”
