Chicago news, Illinois news.

A West Side teen has been fatally shot Thursday afternoon as his family loaded belongings to a U-Haul truck moving to a safer area.

The mother of 14-year-old Tyrese Taylor had decided to move her family somewhere outside Lawndale after realizing her youngest son was in danger.

But a white vehicle approached the U-Haul truck at around 1:45 p.m. and gunned down Taylor on the sidewalk, shooting him multiple times.
