A Nevada grand jury has released disturbing videos filmed by a teenage couple accused of murdering a parent and burning his home down last April.
Aaron Guerrero, 18, and Sierra Halseth, 16, initially tried to run away after their families opposed their relationship before settling on killing Halseth’s dad.
Daniel Halseth, 45, was stabbed dead at his home that was reduced to ashes with his body inside.
Detectives said that the teens purchased a saw, bleach, and lighter fluid after the murder.
“Welcome back to our YouTube channel…Day 3 after murdering somebody…” Guerrero said in a video.
“Whoa, don’t put that on camera,” a laughing Halseth replies before he says: “It was worth it.”
The couple was arrest in Salt Lake City, Utah with a bloody carpet in their car trunk.
They were charged with murder, conspiracy to commit murder, arson, fraudulent use of credit cards, conspiracy to commit robbery, and robbery with a deadly weapon.
