New York City news, New York news.

Neighbors of a Queens family were left in disbelief after a 28-year-old man strangled his mom to death early Saturday inside their home.

Saroj Sharma, 65, was unresponsive at her home on Winchester Boulevard when police responded at around 8:40 a.m.

Her son was still there and police arrested him without incidents. Those who knew them said that the suspect was struggling with mental troubles.
