The family of a 21-year-old college student who vanished Wednesday on her way to a local beauty shop made a puzzling and devastating discovery the next day after finding her dead alongside a mysterious man.
The University of Louisville student identified as “TT” was a hardworking young woman who had two job shifts and an appointment to make her hair on the day she disappeared.
The relatives grew worried when TT didn’t respond to the several calls and as darkness fell, they began looking for her.
“We went looking for her because we didn’t know if she had left the beauty shop or not and went to work,” TT’s aunt said. “So, another cousin of ours had her location on her phone and we located her down to this street, deceased in the car.”
TT’s phone last pinged on the unfamiliar Lampton Street where neither the victim nor her family “had any business up there” before.
At around 4:30 a.m., TT was found dead inside a car with another deceased man. Both appeared to be fatally shot but not inside the vehicle, as the male victim’s feet seemed like he was positioned in the seat by someone else.
“We’re lost with that,” the aunt said. “All we had was the GPS on the phone.
Everything took us by shock. Beautiful little butterfly. She was our baby and she will be missed; I can’t believe it.”
