Tracy news, California news.

Authorities in Tracy, San Joaquin County have halted the search for a missing mom-of-two who had vanished Saturday on her way to a new Amazon job.

36-year-old Chenin Carlson never showed up at her new office and was reported missing hours later. The following day, her body was discovered floating in an aqueduct just blocks away from her Amazon workplace.

Two fishermen alerted police after spotting the human corpse Sunday and yesterday, authorities identified the body as Chenin Carlson and ruled her death as a homicide.
