US strikes 3 Iranian nuclear sites as Trump warns of further 'greater' attacks

President Donald Trump announced Saturday that the U.S. military struck three nuclear facilities in Iran, a decision that directly involves the country in the escalating conflict between Iran and Israel.

“We have completed our very successful attack on the three Nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan,” Trump posted on Truth Social.

“All planes are now outside of Iran air space. A full payload of BOMBS was dropped on the primary site, Fordow. All planes are safely on their way home.”

In a later post, the US president added: “This is a HISTORIC MOMENT FOR THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, ISRAEL, AND THE WORLD. IRAN MUST NOW AGREE TO END THIS WAR. THANK YOU!”

    “If they do not, future attacks would be far greater and a lot easier,” he said.

    Trump specified that B-2 stealth bombers were used in the offensive that aims to end “the horrible threat to Israel” posed by Iran.
