Netflix star Sara Burack was fatally struck in a hit-and-run crash in the Hamptons on Thursday, Southampton Town officials said.
The Million Dollar Beach House star was found fatally wounded along the Montauk Highway just before 3 a.m.
The 40-year-old’s body was found by a cleaner from a hotel near the crash scene. She was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
The hit-and-run driver involved in the deadly crash remains at large. There was no immediate description of the suspect or their vehicle.
Real estate agent Paulette Corsair said she was with the “top agent” at Nest Seekers hours before her sudden passing.
“Sara was always laughing and there for everyone. She was an amazing person. The most hardworking person you’ll ever meet.”
“She was a philanthropist. She helped raise money for cancer charities and animal things. She had her whole life ahead of her.”
