Seven people were hospitalized after a two-car collision at a Lake Elsinore intersection Thursday morning.
The Riverside County Fire Department said the crash occurred on Highway 74 and Riverside Street at around 7:30 a.m.

First responders rushed to the scene and pulled victims out of the wrecked vehicles.
“A total of five adults and two pediatric patients will be transported to a local hospital via ground ambulance with moderate injuries,” fire officials said.
The collision involved a white van and a red sedan. The cause remains under investigation.
