Florida dad arrested after ‘helpless’ infant dies in hot car while he got haircut; drank at bar

A Florida man was arrested after he allegedly left his baby son in a hot car for at least three hours, causing the infant’s death.

Scott Allen Gardner, 33, allegedly left 18-month-old Sebastian “helpless” in a hot car for several hours on June 6 while he got a haircut and drank at Hanky Panky’s Lounge.

    Gardner allegedly gave false accounts about the events leading up to the child’s death.

    He was arrested at his mother’s home with the help of the Ormond Beach Police Department.
