Authorities in New York City are investigating the death of a 29-year-old woman who was found lifeless with trauma to the head Thursday afternoon.
Police responded to a call at around 1:30 p.m. and found the woman unresponsive inside a home on Avenue X near W. 13th St. in Gravesend.

First responders pronounced the victim dead at the scene. The cause of the woman’s death remains undetermined.
The woman’s identity was not disclosed pending the family’s notification.
