A Michigan student support specialist died after a metal file cabinet fell on them while on duty, officials said.
The 46-year-old employee was pronounced dead at the scene after the tragic incident, the Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration said.

First responders were called to the scene, but the worker couldn’t be saved.
An autopsy listed the victim’s cause of death as traumatic (compression) chest asphyxia from the falling cabinet.
The incident marks the state’s 11th worker death this year.
