Train fatally struck woman after she jumped onto tracks to use bathroom

A young woman was fatally struck by a train after she jumped onto the subway tracks to use the bathroom, officials said Tuesday.

The 24-year-old victim was seen jumping on the tracks at about 10:20 p.m. Monday at the 14th St-Union Square stop, likely to relieve herself.

    She died at the scene. Her identity was not immediately released.
