With only 9 days ahead of Election Day, the presidential candidates are intensifying their efforts to make efficient closing pitches to voters in swing states.
After casting his ballot in Florida on Saturday morning for a “guy named Trump”, the President is planning three appearances in North Carolina, Ohio, and Wisconsin while Vice President Pence prepares two rallies in Sunshine state for the day.
Meanwhile, Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden made his first campaign stop in Pennsylvania during a car rally that saw him criticizing his opponent for claiming the country “was rounding the corner” in the coronavirus crisis, ignoring the fact that a record number of over 85,000 new cases was hit on Friday.
“I told him at the debate, we’re not learning how to live with it. We’re learning how to die with it! And it’s wrong,” Biden said.
Speaking about a new stimulus package, he accused his rival of spending his time on the golf course rather than work on the legislation, something Republicans also do focusing on Amy Coney Barrett’s nomination.
“If they get them away, over 100 million Americans, including 5.3 million Pennsylvanians, will lose their coverage for preexisting conditions that we worked so hard to provide,” promising to enlarge the Obamacare if named President.
“I don’t like the idea of all this distance but it’s necessary,” the Democrat told attendees lining up in cars for the Bucks County Community College rally.
“We have 10 days left! And it may come down to Pennsylvania. And I believe in you; I believe in my state.”
