An Ohio woman has turned herself into local authorities after she fatally shot an agonizing man who reportedly asked for it.
64-year-old Gayle Piatt walked to the Hocking County Sheriff’s Office on Sunday and confessed to the murder of her husband.

She told detectives that she fatally shot 72-year-old Homer Piatt on October 15 after he requested she does because he wanted to end his suffering.
The man had a poor quality of life, dealing with chronic illnesses. Piatt added that she tried to commit suicide afterward by ingesting medicines.
When police officers responded to the Hocking County residence, they discovered the dead man’s corpse as well as multiple firearms.
