Delta leaves flooded Louisiana to eastern states with tornadoes, thunderstorms, and heavy rain in forecast

Louisiana news, US news.

The State of Louisiana that has been hard-hit by hurricane Laura just a few weeks ago, is now dealing with flash flooding and extensive damage caused by a less powerful but larger hurricane Delta.

The tropical depression made landfall near Creole, Louisiana as a Category 2 storm yesterday with 100mph winds that cut off the power at 600,000 residences in Louisiana, Texas, and Mississippi.

Incredible flooding and damages resulted all along Delta’s trail across neighboring counties. In Georgia, tornadoes ravaged homes and properties that were submerged by flash floods while still recovering from Laura’s damages.
