A Louisiana man has reportedly admitted to the gruesome murder of his mother, whose body was found in a trash can over the weekend.
Aaron Lloyd, 33, was arrested in Krotz Springs and charged with first-degree murder in the killing of 65-year-old Lisa Lloyd after he gave detectives chilling details of the crime.

Residents reported a foul smell, sending police to the victim’s home, where her body was found in a trash can under a carport on Sunday.
Lloyd allegedly told police he injected his mother with methamphetamine and beat her to death before disposing of her body in the trash can.
The depraved crime marks the fourth murder in Opelousas this year. A motive remains unclear.
