Four people have jumped in front of oncoming trains in New York City within 24 hours, officials said Thursday.
One person was struck by an uptown No. 1 as it entered the 191st St. Station in Washington Heights at around 1:30 p.m.
About an hour later, another person jumped in front of a Queens-bound train as the subway entered the 103rd St. Station in Corona.
A third person was killed late Wednesday after they jumped in front of a No. 2 train at the 96th St. Station on the Upper West Side.
Less than an hour earlier, a fourth person died by suicide after jumping in front of a No. 1 train at the 207th St. Station.
The NYPD said that no criminality was involved in any of the incidents.
