Three people were arrested in Louisiana after a dead toddler was brought to a hospital last month.
The 3-year-old was brought to the emergency room on Feb. 12, the Bienville Parish Sheriff’s Office said.

An autopsy showed the toddler showed signs of physical abuse, leading investigators to respond to the suspects’ home.
Kewanna Lard, 44, Dewanequa Lard, 23, and Szysznk Dewayne Phillips, 48, were arrested on charges including cruelty to juveniles.
The arrests came after detectives gathered enough evidence suggesting alleged child abuse. A 14-year-old was also found at the home.
