Two Illinois women have been charged in the fatal overdose of a 13-month-old who was given sleep medication for adults.
Tasheaunna Williams, 26, and Nausicca Thomas, 27, took the unresponsive baby to a hospital on Dec. 19, 2024. The infant died on Dec. 27.

Investigators said Williams and Thomas gave the baby ZzzQuil while he was in their care.
The women were not arrested until Jan. 10 as investigators awaited toxicology results.
They were indicted on charges of first-degree murder and aggravated battery.
