A fatal shooting claimed a man’s life and sent three others to hospitals Tuesday afternoon, Tampa Police said.
Officers located three victims suffering from gunshot wounds just before 1 p.m. in the 2600 block of E. 28th Avenue in Tampa.
A fourth victim was later linked to the shooting. One of the four men, reportedly in their late 20s and early 30s, was pronounced dead.
The other three victims’ injuries were listed as non-life-threatening. Investigators believe the shooting was targeted.
“As always, we’re asking for information from anybody who may have been at the scene who had any eyewitness accounts or any cell phone video that they may have,” Maj. Eric DeFelice said.
Anyone with information is urged to call the Tampa Police Department at 813-231-6130 or Crime Stoppers.
