A suspect died suddenly Friday morning after suffering an undisclosed medical emergency during a police chase in Ohio.
Columbus officers responded to reports of a man “down and out” on Sullivant Avenue and located the suspect who was acting erratically.

The man rammed his vehicle into a police cruiser injuring two officers and led others on a chase that ended near Hilltonia Middle School when he “suffered some type of medical episode.”
Police took the suspect to a local hospital in life-threatening condition. He died at around 6 a.m.
Authorities said that no shots were fired during the incident. The suspect’s cause of death remains unclear.
