At least 10 people were wounded in a New Year’s Day shooting outside a Queens nightclub, police said.
Four gunmen opened fire more than 30 times outside Amazura nightclub hitting ten people during a private “celebration of life” just before 11:20 p.m.
Most of the injured were teenagers, police said. Six females and four males, aged between 16 and 20, were listed in stable condition.
No arrests have been made but authorities are looking for a light-colored sedan with out-of-state plates in connection to the mass shooting.
“This is not a terrorist attack,” said NYPD Chief of Patrol Philip Rivera.
“There’s zero tolerance for these senseless shootings, these horrible acts of violence on our streets,”
“Those responsible for this crime will be apprehended and brought to justice.”
