Manhunt ongoing in Wisconsin for convicted felon after adult, 2 juveniles found dead

Authorities in Wisconsin are searching for a convicted felon after the bodies of two juveniles and an adult were found at a New Lisbon home Monday afternoon.

Police in Juneau and Monroe Counties began the investigation after one of the juveniles was reported missing, and was last seen with the convicted felon, Virgil Thew.

New Lisbon Police learned on Monday that a second juvenile was also missing, and several law enforcement agencies joined the investigation.

  • By late Monday, the two juveniles and an adult were found dead at a New Lisbon home.

    Investigators are now looking for Thew, a 47-year-old male standing 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing around 150 pounds, in connection to the triple homicide.

    Thew is serving a 14-year probation for burglary and is categorized as a habitual criminal.
