A Boston woman was mauled to death by one of her dogs earlier this week, police said.

Jeriline Brady-McGinnis was described as a “loving, caring mother” who would cook dinner for her dogs every night.

But on Monday afternoon, one of the dogs attacked Brady-McGinnis and her husband before taking off.

“While [officers] were there, the dog returned and attacked the two officers,” Deputy Superintendent Paul McLaughlin said.
