An Ohio woman was arrested this week after she was caught stabbing her elderly mother to death.
Middletown Police responded to the scene late Wednesday and arrested Mekeshia Lattimore without incident.
Minnie Lewis’ son told detectives he found his 44-year-old sister “over the top of the victim while the victim was sitting in a recliner, her hand and arm moving in a stabbing motion toward the victim.”
Lewis’ son forced Lattimore off his mother and spotted “blood coming from the victim’s neck.
The 72-year-old suffered multiple stab wounds to the head, face and neck.
She was taken to Atrium Medical Center where she was pronounced dead.
Lattimore refused to answer investigators’ questions at the scene. She has been charged with murder.
