A 33-year-old mother and her two children are presumed dead after they went over Niagara Falls late Monday.
New York State authorities said Chaianti Means plunged to her death with her two children, 9-year-old Roman Rossman and five-month-old Mecca Means at around 9 p.m. on Oct. 28.
The woman and her children stepped over the safety guardrail on Luna Island and fell to their deaths, police said.
The family’s bodies have yet to be recovered but investigators believe the plunge was “intentional.”
Means was a domestic violence counselor and a mother-of-three, her friends said.
“You really never know what anybody is going through…RIP,” one said.
“I can’t even bare to write a post about her and share memories,” another added.
“I am literally sick to my stomach and I can’t even deal with the emotions I am feeling. Just know her and her children are dearly loved by me and my children.”
