Detroit news, Michigan news.

Former President Donald Trump roamed the stage silently for 17 minutes late Friday after his microphone failed during a Detroit rally.

The Republican nominee was discussing tariffs describing the term as “the most beautiful word in the dictionary” when the sound abruptly stopped.

It took staffers 17 minutes to fix the mic as Trump agitatedly paced the stage, occasionally, turning his back to the audience.

The crowd started chanting “USA” and “We love Trump” to support the former president who vowed not to pay the company responsible for the audio mishap once the mic resumed working.

“I won’t pat the bill to this stupid company,” he said. “If it goes out again, I’ll sue the a** off that company.”

“Judging from his track record, he wasn’t going to pay the bill in the first place,” another agreed.

“Since when does Trump pay his bills?” a commentator wondered.
