New York City news, New York news.

Former President Donald Trump made brutal jokes about Vice President Kamala Harris who did not attend the annual white-tie Al Smith charity dinner on Thursday.

“If you really wanted Vice President Harris to accept your invitation, I guess you should have told her the funds were going to bail out the looters and rioters in Minneapolis and she would have been here, guaranteed,” Trump said referring to the protests that took place in the aftermath of George Floyd’s death.

“You better remember that I’m here and she’s not.”

Trump also brought up President Joe Biden’s cognitive ability saying “If the Democrats really wanted to have someone not be with us this evening, they would have sent Joe Biden.”

The Republican nominee even cited Harris’ husband Doug Emhoff’s affair with a nanny admitting that his humor was a bit too harsh.

“The only piece of advice I would have for her in the event she wins would be not to let husband Doug anywhere near the nannies,” Trump said.

“That’s that nasty one. That’s nasty. That’s too tough,” he admitted.

Trump called Harris’ choice to skip the dinner to campaign in Wisconsin as “disrespectful” to the Catholic community.

“My opponent feels like she does not have to be here, which is disrespectful to the event and in particular to our great Catholic community – very disrespectful,” he said.

“The last Democrat not to attend this event was Walter Mondale and it did not go very well for him.”
