Adult fatally shot at youth flag football game in Milwaukee

A shooting at a youth flag football game has claimed a 47-year-old person’s life Saturday.

The victim was transported to a local hospital around 1 p.m. with a gunshot wound and died shortly later.

A 37-year-old was arrested in connection to the shooting but is currently not considered a suspect in the death.

    “The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation,” police said.

    Resources will be provided to students on Monday, the Milwaukee Public Schools District said.

    “Milwaukee we MUST do better for ourselves, our children, and neighbors for the future of our city,” Perez added.
