A New York man was arrested earlier this month after he allegedly went on a rampage, fatally stabbing his five-month pregnant wife and injuring their two young daughters.
32-year-old Drew Garnier was arrested on September 4 at the crime scene at his Masonville home where he allegedly killed Samantha Garnier and stabbed his two daughters aged 6 and 9.
The girls are “expected to make a full recovery,” authorities said adding that “family has arrived from outside the area and will be caring for both girls.”
Police said that there was a dispute between the couple but did not elaborate on a motive.
“Sammi was a beautiful, compassionate, and loving mother who always wanted the best for her babies,” a GoFundMe page for the family reads.
“She was due to have a baby girl in February of 2025 and would be celebrating her 30th birthday in 2 weeks. She was taken from us, leaving two beautiful girls behind.”
