2 killed, 3 wounded in shooting near Virginia bus service station

Two men were killed and three others wounded when gunfire erupted near a Suffolk, Virginia bus service station late Thursday night.

Officers responded to reports of a shooting on East Washington Street just before 11:30 p.m.

  • Upon arrival, they found five victims with gunshot wounds. One of them was declared dead at the scene.

    Another victim succumbed to his injuries at a hospital. The three injured victims’ conditions were not immediately known.

    Authorities are asking for the public’s help to identify the suspect. Witnesses are asked to submit tips at 888-LOCK-U-UP, or 1-888-562-5887.
