Kansas lineman, 20, dies from electrocution while on job

A 20-year-old Kansas lineman was electrocuted Wednesday while working at a Wellington power plant substation.

Wilson Price died after coming in contact with an energized piece of equipment. He joined the Electric Distribution Department in January 2024.

City officials said Price will be remembered for his “incredible attitude and the joy he brought to every job site, a testament to his positive impact on the department.”
