Hunter dies from accidental self-inflicted gunshot wound in Michigan

Authorities in Michigan said a hunter succumbed to an accidental, self-inflicted gunshot wound Wednesday morning.

Clinton County authorities received a call from the 42-year-old hunter at around 7 a.m.

The St. Johns resident told cops he accidentally shot himself in the leg while hunting in Sleepy Hollow State Park.

    The hunter’s identity is being withheld pending family notification.
