An Ohio girl was killed in her bed early Friday when at least two gunmen opened fire at three homes, authorities said.
The 12-year-old girl was reportedly sleeping in her bed in an upstairs bedroom when the shots were fired at around 1 a.m.

Dayton Police Maj. Brian Johns said the girl, who died from her injuries, was the only victim and there were no other reported injuries.
Johns said officers recovered more than 30 rifle casings from the scene and the bullets were fired directly at three homes neighboring each other.
No arrests were made in connection to the incident as the investigation proceeds.
