Fairfax County news, Virginia news.

A Virginia man accused of gunning down his girlfriend’s parents back in 2017 was found dead in his cell early Thursday morning.

24-year-old Nicholas Giampa’ cause of death remains unclear but authorities did not suspect foul play was involved in his demise.

Giampa was 17 when he shot Scott Fricker, 48, and Buckley Kuhn-Fricker, 43, to death inside their Virginia home.

The couple objected Giampa’s relationship with their 16-year-old daughter because of his new-Nazi affiliation.

On the fateful night, the victims were shot when they caught Giampa in their daughter’s room.

He then unsuccessfully tried to shoot his girlfriend before turning the gun on himself.

Giampa survived the self-inflicted gunshot wound that caused damage to his brain and prohibited him from understanding trial proceedings.

The jury trial was subsequently postponed three times and was scheduled to take place in January.
