New Albany news, Indiana news.

An Indiana man has admitted to shooting his ex-girlfriend and killing her while she filmed a TikTok video with a friend Saturday morning.

Officers responded to 25-year-old Kaitlynn Lee’s New Albany apartment to find her and her friend with gunshot wounds.

The mother of three was shot to the head, police said. She died from her injuries at the scene.

Her friend told cops they were filming the TikTok video in the kitchen when 25-year-old Joshua Thompson showed up, standing outside the window.
