Authorities in Stow, Ohio are investigating a tragic murder-suicide involving two people who did not know each other at a fast-food drive-thru.
53-year-old Jason Williams shot and killed 25-year-old Megan Keleman at around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday before turning the gun on himself.
The incident started when Keleman asked an employee at the Taco Bell restaurant to call 911 after Williams’ car read-ended her in the drive-thru.
As police responded to the incident, Williams got out of his car and fired at Keleman killing her before shooting himself dead.
Stow Police Chief Jeffrey Film said Keleman did not know Williams before the incident.
“As chief of police and a community leader, I would like to say that this is a true tragedy,” Film added.
“Not only did the Kelemans lose a daughter, but we as a community lost one of our daughters.”
Williams had a criminal history of weapons possession and was out on bond at the time of the murder-suicide.
