‘True tragedy’: Ohio man takes own life after killing woman he didn’t know at Taco Bell drive-thru

Authorities in Stow, Ohio are investigating a tragic murder-suicide involving two people who did not know each other at a fast-food drive-thru.

53-year-old Jason Williams shot and killed 25-year-old Megan Keleman at around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday before turning the gun on himself.

The incident started when Keleman asked an employee at the Taco Bell restaurant to call 911 after Williams’ car read-ended her in the drive-thru.

As police responded to the incident, Williams got out of his car and fired at Keleman killing her before shooting himself dead.

  • Stow Police Chief Jeffrey Film said Keleman did not know Williams before the incident.

    “As chief of police and a community leader, I would like to say that this is a true tragedy,” Film added.

    “Not only did the Kelemans lose a daughter, but we as a community lost one of our daughters.”

    Williams had a criminal history of weapons possession and was out on bond at the time of the murder-suicide.
