An Arizona man was apprehended Thursday for making death threats against Donald Trump on the same day the former President visited the southern border.
Cochise County authorities said 66-year-old Ronald Lee Syvrud was busted during a traffic stop at around 2:30 p.m.

“As part of the operations plan in place for the visit of candidate Donald Trump on today’s date, locating this subject was a priority,” the sheriff’s office said in a statement.
Syvrud also had several outstanding warrants in Wisconsin and Arizona including for driving under the influence, failure to appear in court, and a hit-and-run charge.
