Michigan toddler, 3, dies in hot car while dad shopped at store

A Michigan toddler was found dead inside a hot car Tuesday afternoon after he was left there while his father shopped at a nearby store.

Kalamazoo County authorities said officers responded to the parking lot of a Vicksburg Family Fare store at around 3 p.m. over reports of an unresponsive child.

    Investigators believe the toddler’s father left him in the scorching hot car while he was inside the store for groceries.
