Pasadena news, Texas news.

A Texas father has allegedly admitted he no longer wanted to care for his infant daughter when he abandoned her near a dumpster in Pasadena.

Anferne Gray, 28, allegedly assaulted the 2-month-old girl’s mother on Monday and took the baby with him.

The father initially left the infant by a motel pool for 15 to 20 minutes before returning to retrieve her, prosecutors said.

“Then you picked up the child, walked about 1,000 feet to a nearby restaurant where you allegedly left the baby inside of a dumpster enclosure,” the magistrate said during a Tuesday hearing.
