A Columbia, South Carolina boy was arrested in Atlanta for the fatal shooting of two young men earlier this month.

The 16-year-old reportedly fled to Atlanta after shooting and killing Dominic Goodwin and Xavier J. Hopkins, both 22, just five minutes away from Hopkins’ home on July 9.

South Fulton Police Department and the Georgia Bureau of Investigations located the juvenile suspect and contacted the Richland County Sheriff’s Office.

“They found numerous guns, he had guns with him. One of the guns that we’ve already matched as one of the murder weapons,” Sheriff Leon Lott said.
