Five people including four children were shot to death in Bibb County, Alabama Thursday.
A woman and five children were fatally shot in the head in the 1000 block of Greentree Drive in the West Blocton community at around 10:00, the sheriff’s office said.
Police arrested 32-year-old Brandon Allan Kendrick Jr. at the scene and charged him with multiple counts of capital murder.

Kendrick is the slain woman’s husband and father of two of the children.
All four children were under the age of 8, Sheriff Jody Wade noted.
The suspect remained at the scene after the massacre. A motive is still under investigation.
