An Ohio man is behind bars after sanitation workers found the body of his slain girlfriend near a Canton park on Tuesday.
Raychel Sheridan’s body was wrapped in something from her apartment when it was found near the Mother Goose Land Park Tuesday, police said.
The possibly pregnant 24-year-old woman was reported missing by her mother hours before she was found deceased.
Officers responding to her apartment spotted Sean Goe, the victim’s boyfriend, leaving in her car and found foul play evidence inside the couple’s apartment.
Goe, 26, had been at the center of a domestic violence criminal complaint last May.
Court records stated Goe “did knowingly make the mother of his unborn child, Raychel Sheridan, believe that he was going to cause her serious physical harm.
He was located at a Canton homeless encampment and arrested on Wednesday morning.
