An elderly California woman died tragically this week after a homeless man allegedly shoved her into an oncoming commuter train’s path.
The 74-year-old victim was reportedly returning home from her job as a telephone operator at a San Francisco hotel at around 11 p.m. Monday when she was pushed into the tracks.

Police said the victim hit her head on the train and landed on the platform. She succumbed to her injuries at an area hospital.
The 49-year-old suspect, described as a transient, was booked into jail in connection to the murder.
Officials identified the victim as Corazon Dandan. What led the suspect to push her into the tracks remains unclear.
