2 toddlers, 2 adults killed in crash involving pickup; ATV in Colorado

Two toddlers and two adults were killed Wednesday when an all-terrain vehicle crashed into a pickup truck on a rural Colorado road, authorities said.

The driver of the Polaris RZR all-terrain vehicle drove through a stop sign and struck a Ram 5500 at an intersection about 20 miles south of Brush.

  • Colorado State Patrol said the driver of the ATV, and a female passenger, both 22, and two children ages 1, and 2, died in the crash.

    All four victims were riding on the ATV. The pickup driver suffered critical wounds and was transported to an area hospital.

    Troopers believe alcohol was involved in the deadly collision.
