Authorities in Florida have arrested a depraved carjacker with the help of his own mother.

35-year-old Willio Petioma was taken into custody on Sunday, days after he allegedly carjacked a vehicle with a toddler inside it.

On June 26, a woman heading to the veterinarian with her 3-year-old daughter and cat was involved in a crash, the Broward County Sheriff’s Office said.

When the woman left her car to speak with the other car’s driver, Petioma allegedly hopped in and took off with the child and cat.
