Houston news, Texas news.

A missing Houston man was found dead in Buffalo Bayou Monday, days after his roommates said he drank too much at a local bar and jumped out of their car.

The body of 22-year-old Kenneth Cutting was located in the bayou along Swiney Street, about a mile-and-a-half from where he reportedly jumped after a night out on Friday.

During the search for the missing young man, his father said he last saw him in a video, partying with his roommates at Pete’s Dueling Piano Bar.

“I can tell you right now my son’s not out partying. He doesn’t know anybody. He’s not a street-wise kid. He’s always had a place to live. He’s never been out on the street, never disappeared,” Kenneth Cutting Sr. said.

“When I got that telephone call, I dropped to my knees and screamed,” he said.

“He was the biggest thing in my life. I only have one son and I didn’t have him until I was 45 years old, and yeah, I’m past the point of being upset.”
